About the artist
Kevin Valleray, better known by his stage name, Kalash” or Mwaka Boss, is the top rapper and vocalist from Martinique who has risen to fame in recent years through his dancehall/reggae tracks. In 2016, his album Kaos immediately shot to number 2 in the French album charts, going platinum that same year. But it was with "Mwaka Moon", a track from his fourth album, that Kalash well and truly broke all records: the track was streamed 6.35 million times in just 6 days and amassed 247 million views on YouTube. From Martinique to mainland France, we haven’t heard the last of this multifaceted artist that’s smashing record after record.
