About the band
Jack Black and Kyle Gass, the thunderous duo behind Tenacious D, formed the 'World's Best Band' in Los Angeles in the late 90s.
Their career includes a hit HBO series in 1999, a multi-platinum album in 2001 and a feature film, "Tenacious D in the Pick of Destiny", released in 2006. At the Grammy Awards in 2012, they received a nomination for their album "Rize of the Fenix", then won an award in 2014 for Best Metal Performance, while in 2013 they founded Festival Supreme, a festival dedicated to music and humor in Los Angeles. Then, in 2018, they release the animated film "Tenacious D in Post-Apocalypto", accompanied by its soundtrack, followed by a graphic novel in 2020. In 2021/2022, they release charity covers and launch a line of cereal bars (!).
2023: after turning Las Vegas upside down with sold-out shows, releasing the hit "Video Games" and a cover version of "Wicked Game", they launch "THE SPICY MEATBALL TOUR"!
